Isabella County: no page here yet
We have written county pages for the 30 most populous Michigan counties. The county that covers Mount Pleasant is not one of them, so this page points to the region and the state overview instead.
Mid-Michigan
Mid-Michigan splits on sales. Ingham and Shiawassee counties require an evaluation before closing, Jackson County says there are no requirements at transfer, and Eaton, Calhoun and Clinton have no sale rule in their published text. Eaton County, through the Barry-Eaton District Health Department, requires certified installers only for certain technologies, while Clinton shares one set of regulations with Gratiot and Montcalm. Shiawassee's ordinance also requires servicing of a tank not pumped in two years as part of a sale. The published new-permit fees run from $250 for a new permit in Clinton to $469 in Eaton. For a mid-Michigan county that has no page here, the questions are the same: which health department, which code, whether a sale evaluation applies and what your permit file holds. The sale guide lists what we found.
