Terms of Use

Agreeing to these terms
By using septicmatchusa.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
What SepticMatch is
SepticMatch is a referral service. We are not a septic contractor, pumper, installer or inspector, and we do not do or supervise any work. We send your request to one independent company that works your county, and the company decides whether to take the job.
No endorsement and no promise of a match
We do not endorse, rank or vouch for any company. We do not promise that a company will call you, that it will take the job, that it holds any license, or that its work will meet any standard. Ask for license or registration numbers and check them with the regulator that issues them.
Prices and estimates
The company you hire sets the price, in writing, and you and the company agree it. Ranges and figures on this site are estimates and evidence, not quotes, and they carry the date they are as of. The county, health department and utility rules we describe change, and the authority that issues them has the last word.
Information on this site
Guides, tools and county pages are general information. They are not legal, engineering, health or construction advice. A tool gives the likely next step, and only an inspection shows what is happening in your system. If sewage is backing up, call your local health department.
Your use of the site
Give accurate information and use the form only for septic work at a property you own or manage, or have permission to ask about. Do not use the site to send false requests, to scrape it, or to interfere with it.
Calls and texts
If you tick the consent box you agree that the company we match you with, or a referral partner acting for it, may call and text you as the box says. See the privacy policy.
No warranties
The site and its information are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, SepticMatch is not liable for the work, advice or conduct of any company we send your request to, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Disputes and governing law
Write to support@septicmatchusa.com first and give us a chance to put it right. These terms are governed by the law of the state in which SepticMatch's operator is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and disputes that remain go to the courts of that state.
Changes
We may change these terms by posting a new version with a new effective date. Using the site after that means you accept the change.
